The Salsabor crew will be away from Monday, 30 August to the 14th of September. King O'Malley's class and social will be on again the 20th of September. The 27th of September is a public holiday so will not run on that day.

Our NEW and exciting Zumba Power Toning class is a 1 hour 15 minute fat burning, inch melting, toning, strength and cardio workout that feels NOTHING like your typical fitness class. It's a PARTY! You will move to intoxicating Latin Rhythms (Merengue, Salsa, Cha Cha Cha, Raggaeton, etc), working your entire body, without realizing you are actually working out. The first 45 minutes of the class will focus on toning using the light weighted, maraca-like Zumba Toning Sticks to enhance rhythm, build strength and tone all target zones. The last half hour will focus on your cardio fitness, just like in the regular Zumba classes. Let our specialty Salsabor Zumba instructors show you how to spice up your Zumba to sculpt and tone your body.

The size of this class is strictly limited due to the space requirements needed for each student to use their toning sticks. This class is not a part of the Zumba Fit Pass and must be purchased separately. The price of this class includes the special maraca shaped 3 pound Zumba toning sticks specifically designed for this program.

It's time for glitz, glamour and a lot of razzle dazzle! Showgirl dancing is the ultimate girly fantasy, with all the old-world glamour of the 1940s and 1950s! If you've ever wanted to be a Vegas showgirl or steal the spotlight on Broadway, then this is the course for you! Every class includes stretching and strength exercises to work towards those showgirl high kicks and splits. Over the 10 weeks the group will also learn a fun and glamorous showgirl routine, with the opportunity to perform.

Salsabor is thrilled to be teaching Zumba Gold in Term 3. This class is specifically designed for the active older adult, the true beginner, and/or people who are not used to exercising. The lower impact, easy to follow, Latin inspired dance fitness party that keeps you in the groove of life. Come and join the party whatever age or fitness level!

Salsabor is proud to announce that it is one of the first schools in Australia to offer Zumbatomic. Zumbatomic is a really fun 45 minute class designed specifically for kids' minds and bodies! It is different to a regular Zumba class. This program fuses the original Zumba with the science behind children exercise programs. Kids ages 5-12 will enjoy movement and exercise while being exposed to Latin and world music and also educated on specific dance styles and their origins. The class will also incorporate rhythm reviews, dance choreography, games, and performance to incorporate healthy lifestyle habits as well as developing leadership, respect, team work, pride, confidence, and responsibility.

Salsabor began teaching Zumba in October 2009 and it has been a huge success. Its one of the most popular classes at the school, and in 2010, it is even bigger and better. Zumba is a Latin dance fitness class which is taking off worldwide. It is the Latin-inspired, calorie-burning, feel-it-to-the-core dance-fitness party that leaves you feeling energized and exhilarated about your day. In term 3 Salsabor will be teaching 13 Zumba classes a week to suit everyone's schedule - including Lunch & Evening Classes. Over the past six years Salsabor has become one of the most sought after and leading Latin dance schools in the ACT. In 2010, it will offer over 25 hours of tuition per week in Salsa, Reggaeton, Cha Cha, Bachata, Zumba, Hip Hop and Bachata.
